A shared winemaking space established in the old Castlemaine Woollen Mill in 2015 and home to Minim Wine (Tim Sproal). Boomtown is driven by a collective philosophy of making small batch, honest wines, sourcing fruit from great Central Victorian sites. Our cellar door is open Friday nights for reckless good times and weekend days for more serious wine business.

The cellar door has been fashioned rustically for both function and charm. Nestled in the corner of the winery, by the window to catch some afternoon sun. An immersive space, surrounded by the tools of their trade in an amazing old industrial warehouse, previously used to make woollen carpets. An ideal setting for enjoying the wines that we make.
