There is no such thing as a bad time to take a break. While it makes sense that weekends are popular for escapes, it shouldn’t be the only time to consider going away.
I mean, who doesn’t enjoy a cheeky mid-week get away?
With Castlemaine only 90 minutes from Melbourne, and easily accessible from a number of other regional centres, it’s an ideal destination for a day trip or an overnighter.
We’ve put together 4 great reasons why you should think about visiting The Mill mid-week.
- It’s almost a given that businesses will be less crowded than if you visit on a weekend. Forget having to queue and wait to be seated, or for the change rooms or at the registers.
- Chances are you’ll find a car parking space straight away. And imagine the joy of driving against the flow of traffic – heading out of the city while others head in. Same applies with the train.
- Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the opportunity for slow conversations with food and beverage producers and vintage stallholders.
- Break up the week with a break! Monday to Friday can feel like a grind. A mini break can be all it takes to feel refreshed and invigorated and improve your work-life balance.
